ETHOS is a Dana Foundation-funded initiative aimed at fostering STEM identity and neuroethical awareness among underrepresented high school and middle school students through after-school workshops, a summer near-peer mentoring bootcamp, and Neuroscience & Society Day field trips. Dr. Demetri Morgan serves in an advisory and strategic support role as Co-Investigator on the broader grant, contributing to evaluation design, STEM equity framing, and preparation of peer-reviewed manuscripts disseminating program findings. Dr. Vanessa Louis, Clinical Assistant Professor in the Marsal Family School of Education, facilitates after-school workshops and provides science consultancy to inform program implementation and scaling strategies, supported by Marsal graduate research assistant Karina Forsythe-Cummings. Work will be conducted over the project period with deliverables including after-school workshop facilitation, science consultancy, contributions to the ETHOS pedagogical manual, and co-authorship of peer-reviewed manuscripts disseminating findings to the broader science education community.
