Scaling Up a Promising Approach to Narrowing the SES Achievement Gap in Primary-Grade Social Studies and Content Literacy

The proposed project would test the impact of an approach we have developed to teaching social studies and content literacy in primary-grade classrooms. Both of these areas are neglected in U.S. primary-grade education, particularly in low-SES school settings.
