Collaborative Learning in School Improvement Networks

This grant will support a two year collaboration between Marsal Family School of Education researchers and the managers of Michigan's Integrated Behavior and Learning Support Initiative (MiBLSi). MiBLSi is an effort funded by the Michigan Department of Education to support the coordinated enactment of two programs (Response to Intervention and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) in over 1600 schools throughout the state. The purpose of the grant is to continue developing a novel method of formative evaluation intended to support the management of large-scale, instructionally-focused school improvement initiatives.
