CEDER “Aspiring Modeling Facilitators Academy” Consultation #1

The "Modeling Instruction in Michigan" Math and Science Partnership (MSP) is instituting the Aspiring Modeling Facilitators Academy which begins with a one week workshop in August 17-21. After the initial workshop the MSP group will partner each participant with a Institute for Higher Education (IHE) content mentor and a Modeling Mentor. The trio (teacher, IHE content mentor, and modeling mentor) will meet at least two times in the 2015-16 school year. These meetings will be held using a hybrid of face-to-face class meetings and remote interactions.
