Dr. Mindy M. Gold is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Marsal Family School of Education at the University of Michigan. Her scholarship focuses on engaging in participatory and practitioner action research as forms of professional development for educational leaders, developing school-community partnerships, and applying existing assets to embark on sustainable educational innovation and change. 

Gold has spent her career working and conducting research on educational leadership, action research methodologies, professional learning, and educational technology. She brings her experience in classroom teaching and consulting for schools and non-profit communal organizations into her current work with educational leaders. Gold has taught seminars and courses in online, asynchronous, and hybrid formats focused on topics such as action research, data-driven change, building collaborative communities, design thinking, and leading organizational change.

Her scholarship has been published in Educational Action Research, The Education Forum, Journal of Participatory Research Methods, Journal of Jewish Education, and Journal of Cases in Educational Leadership.

Gold earned her EdD in Educational Leadership and Organizational Development from the University of Louisville. She joins the faculty at the Marsal School after teaching most recently in the School of Education at Hebrew Union College, and in the Mandel Teacher Educator Institute.
