Djennin Z. Casab manages community partnerships and community-engaged learning opportunities for the Learning, Equity, and Problem Solving for the Public Good (LEAPS) program. She works collaboratively with community organizations, faculty, and students to develop reciprocal partnerships that provide students meaningful learning experiences while addressing community-identified priorities.
With more than 15 years of experience in higher education, local government, and business, Djennin has led initiatives that strengthen civic engagement, expand community partnerships, and connect students with opportunities to apply their learning in real-world settings. Her work is guided by a commitment to equity, collaboration, and mutually beneficial partnerships that create impact for both students and communities.
Djennin earned a Master of Arts in higher education administration and student affairs from Madonna University, where her graduate research focused on civic engagement through dialogical pedagogy. She also holds a bachelor of arts in business administration from Universidad de las Américas in Mexico City.
