Promotional video for Transforming Education in an Interconnected World recognized with an Emmy Award

The promotional video for the open access learning series Transforming Education in an Interconnected World was recognized with an Emmy Award by the Michigan Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences in an awards ceremony at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit on June 15, 2024.

The promotional video won in the category of Editor - Spot Announcement. It was also nominated in the categories of Audio and Program Promotion (Single Spot). The promotional video was conceptualized and scripted by Don Peurach, faculty director of the Marsal School's EdHub for Community and Professional Learning, and brought to life by the creative media design team in the University of Michigan Center for Academic Innovation. It features Marsal School alumna Morgan Breon as the narrator, with participation from EdHub interns Sharon Jessica and Larry Zhu. Marsal School alumna Annie Peurach coordinated the students and colleagues from Emerson School who are featured in the video.
