Dr. Jeremy Wright-Kim will work with the Rancho Santiago Community College District and the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office to explore how to most "equitably" allocate funds to the System's categorical programs and support the students that benefit from them, including economically disadvantaged students, veterans, students with disabilities, working students, former foster youth, and other historically underserved populations.
The mixed-methods study includes cross-case analyses of financial equity from practitioner perspectives, descriptive- and regression-based assessments of equitable allocations, and a typology of categorical program-affiliated students.
