The M-STEM Academies at the University of Michigan: an integrated approach to increase the number and diversity of undergraduates in STEM disciplines

The M-STEM Academies will create an integrated, holistic curricular and co-curricular support system for students with high ability and potential in science who, for reasons of low socioeconomic status, first generation college status, race or gender bias, or lack of rigor of high school background, might not be successful at a highly competitive research university.
