Improvement Scholars Network

This project is a collaboration with colleagues at Vanderbilt University in establishing the Improvement Scholars Network (ISN) as a field-level organization leading the institutionalization of improvement research in the education sector.
The work will include growing and strengthening the ISN as an organization by developing an organizational charter and leadership structure; communications and web infrastructure; and recruiting and membership procedures. It will also include four main strands of activity: community building among ISN members; research on the advancement and institutionalization of improvement research in education; the design of professional learning opportunities supporting the advancement of improvement research in education; and bridge building with evaluation communities.
