Tabita partners with faculty, research scientists, staff, and students to provide comprehensive research administration support for externally funded research projects. She advises project teams on budgeting, financial forecasting, compliance, personnel actions, reporting, and sponsor requirements throughout the award lifecycle. She also monitors project expenditures, manages financial activities, and serves as a trusted resource on federal sponsor regulations, foundation requirements, and University of Michigan policies to help ensure the effective stewardship of sponsored funds.
Prior to joining Marsal, Tabita worked in the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts (LSA), where she provided both pre- and post-award research administration support to faculty and project teams across the social science departments.
