Sima is a Learning Sciences Student Fellow working with GET City, where she supports middle school students in exploring STEM through creative, hands-on learning experiences. She is a master's student in Educational Studies, specializing in the Designing for Innovation: Learning, Instruction, and Technologies track at the University of Michigan with a background in mathematics education and research interests in educational technology, gifted education, and mathematical creativity in learning. Outside of academics, she enjoys theater, traveling, spending time with her partner, loved ones and exploring new places.
