JD Duval (he/him/his) serves the Marsal Family School of Education as a web designer and project manager on the communications team. In this role, he supports projects that maintain and improve the Marsal School's website and intranet. His responsibilities include meeting with Marsal School community members to define web projects; designing and building subsites, web pages, and email templates; providing support and training for web platforms; and developing web governance and content operations guidelines.
JD joined the University of Michigan community in 2013 as an undergraduate transfer student from Washtenaw Community College. He holds a BA in English (’15) from LSA, an MFA in creative writing (’17) from the Helen Zell Writer's Program, and an MS in human-computer interaction (’19) from the School of Information. He joined Marsal School staff in 2019 as a web content administrator and assumed his current role in 2022.
