Emily Buckley is the Marketing and Communications Specialist for Life-Changing Education (LCE), a university-wide, two-year initiative dedicated to exploring and showcasing the transformative power of learning. Emily leads the strategic communications and marketing efforts for LCE, and she supports grant opportunities, promotes diverse programming, and amplifies impact stories that demonstrate educational transformation.
Emily’s role encompasses creating engaging marketing materials, managing promotional assets, and facilitating internal and external communications with a range of LCE stakeholders. She works closely with the initiative’s leadership team to ensure LCE’s work produces measurable, lasting change and aligns with broader university goals.
A proud University of Michigan alum, Emily graduated in 2022 with a degree in Communication and Media Studies, as well as minors in Writing and Art & Design. Prior to joining Marsal, Emily served as the Communications Coordinator for LSA’s Sociology Department and Organizational Studies program, where she managed department communications, designed promotional materials, and oversaw social media and community newsletters.
Outside of work, Emily enjoys illustrating, spending time with friends and family, and exploring various creative pursuits.
