Ashley Henne works with prospective and admitted students across Marsal’s graduate programs, helping them navigate the admissions process and explore how a Marsal degree can support their academic and professional goals. She collaborates with faculty, staff, and colleagues across the school to support and lead recruitment initiatives, admissions processes, and events that connect prospective students with the Marsal community. Ashley is passionate about ensuring students feel empowered, supported, and confident as they consider the next step in their educational journey.
Ashley believes that access to graduate education is essential to preparing educators and leaders who advance meaningful learning opportunities and help build schools and communities where all individuals can thrive. She is especially interested in how thoughtful recruitment practices and student-centered enrollment strategies can expand access to high-quality learning opportunities and support the development of educators and leaders who strengthen schools and communities.
Before joining the Marsal Family School of Education, Ashley worked in graduate and undergraduate admissions at the University of Southern California’s Sol Price School of Public Policy in Los Angeles, CA. She earned her Master of Education (M.Ed.) from the USC Rossier School of Education and is currently completing her Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) at USC. Ashley is also a proud Kalamazoo College alumnae. Outside of work, she enjoys running outdoors, writing her dissertation at local coffee shops, questing in World of Warcraft, and spending time with her cats.
