This course introduces speculative literacies as tools for collective worldbuilding and educational change. Students engage scholarship on community and coalitional literacies, critical justice and decolonial approaches, Black feminist traditions, digital discourse, and futurist/Afrofuturist theories. Coursework emphasizes experimentation - (re)storying, design, and critique - leading to a final project anchored in a selected tradition.
