Kessler Scholars Collaborative
CEDER was the evaluator for the Kessler Scholars Collaborative during the 2020-21 and 2021-22 academic years. The 2021-22 Evaluation Report focused on understanding how the program is developing, capturing student outcomes, and presenting recommendations for improvement.
Executive Summary

Section One: Program Snapshot
Develop an understanding of the 2021-22 Kessler Scholars Program. The Program Snapshot describes the program model, the activities of the Kessler Scholars Collaborative network, the 2021-22 partner institutions, and the participating Scholars.
Section Two: Student Outcomes
Understand outcomes across the Kessler Scholar Program’s six domains of student development and learn how outcomes varied by student population. The Student Outcomes section presents a mixed methods analysis of data from a variety of sources, pairing quantitative data points with qualitative findings and quotes from scholars.
Section Three: Program Development
See how feedback from students and staff translates into recommendations for program improvement. The Program Development section includes student suggestions for the development of the program at participating institutions, as well as student and staff suggestions for the development of the Collaborative network.
Methods
Explore the approach, methodologies, and samples employed by the CEDER team. The Methods section describes the aims of the evaluation, presents CEDER’s evaluation design, and summarizes data collection and analysis activities.
