SOE remains atop 2020 U.S. News and World Report rankings
U.S. News and World Report announced their 2020 rankings of Best Graduate Schools on March 12. According to the Best Education Schools rankings, the University of Michigan School of Education rose to #11 overall and #3 among public universities.
For the rankings of graduate education programs, 392 schools granting doctoral degrees were surveyed in fall 2018 and early 2019. Of those schools, 258 responded and provided the data needed to calculate rankings based on a weighted average of 10 different measures.
Additionally, the SOE was highly ranked in seven specialty areas that are established by U.S. News and World Report, demonstrating the School’s excellent reputation across a breadth of education topics. The Combined Program in Education and Psychology took the #1 ranking in the new analysis.
