Peter Riley Bahr is recognized by the American Consortium for Equity in Education

The American Consortium for Equity in Education (ACE-Ed) has recognized Associate Professor Peter Riley Bahr with a 2024 Excellence in Equity Award. The Excellence in Equity Awards program recognizes the companies, leaders, authors, and educators whose tremendous efforts in education are helping schools achieve equity everywhere. Bahr received the Champion of Equity Award for Higher Education.

In a statement, ACE-Ed says:

“Dr. Peter Riley Bahr’s entire academic career has been dedicated to research related to community colleges, socioeconomically disadvantaged students, adult students, labor market returns to college, career and technical education (CTE), and noncredit/continuing education. His work at the state level has influenced policy and change across the country, and he is often called upon by the private sector for his expertise.”
