In a March 30 video posted on their Facebook page, Detroit PBS features Deborah Loewenberg Ball as one of five women it is spotlighting for Women’s History Month. The video discusses the many contributions Loewenberg Ball has made across her career:

“Dr. Ball has spent her career proving that skilled and supported educators are key in raising a more just and equitable society. And her award-winning work is helping to set the foundation for the success of the next generation of learners.”

The featured women embody Detroit PBS’s five pillars of excellence: arts & culture (Stacey "Hotwaxx" Hale), journalism (Patricia Ann Rencher), energy & the environment (Mari Copeny), kids & education (Loewenberg Ball), and health & wellness (Dr. Eva Feldman).
