Share

In collaboration with Jewish Family Services of Washtenaw County (JFS), this literary comic will target current and future resettled refugee youth from multiple countries like Afghanistan, Ukraine, and Syria. Captured through interviews, the unique pre-migration and resettlement experiences of refugee youth will serve as the content for this literary comic, portions of which will be read by refugee youth that participated in its development to stakeholders at JFS, local schools, as well as broader communities in Michigan invested in the well-being of refugee youth. This project is made possible in part by a grant from Michigan Humanities, an affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
