The Marsal Family School of Education is proud to be a City Year partner, offering a 25% tuition scholarship to support City Year community members pursuing full-time undergraduate or graduate study in one of our degree programs.

City Year was founded in 1988 as a national service program to unite young adults from diverse backgrounds for a demanding year of full-time community service. City Year has grown to more than 3,000 members serving in 29 US cities (including Detroit), and abroad. National service helps young people develop into leaders, problem solvers and more active citizens.

ELIGIBILITY

• Currently serving AmeriCorps members at U.S. locations who have completed at least one City Year service term by the time of enrollment
• City Year alums who have completed at least one City Year service term at a U.S. location
• Current City Year staff members who have been employed for at least two years

Scholarships are based on admissions applications and subject to required proof of service documentation.
