Lunch & Learn: Education and Eco-Despair, A Conversation for Educators
Tribute Room (Marsal School 1322)
It is no secret that the climate crisis is real and it is now. As the global community grapples with how to meet the wicked problems that a changing climate brings, our individual communities are facing new and exasperated stressors on mental and emotional wellbeing. Eco-despair is a growing topic of conversation, a shared and real experience that is slowly but surely entering classrooms. Come join the discussion about how eco-despair is understood, experienced, and managed in the classroom setting.
SOE/SEAS MA student and Climate Blue Student Coordinator Sarah Collins will facilitate these sessions. Together, we will expand our understanding of these concepts, consider ways to apply them to our work in education, and build community.
Lunch will be provided
Please RSVP by Wednesday, March 16th
