CPEP Brown Bag

In this meeting, we will be discussing the New Mission Statement and Goals for CPEP Colloquium. The new norm strives to establish a stronger focus on DEI initiatives, and create a conversational space for questioning more complex and difficult ideas. To that end, we intend to redesign the CPEP Colloquium to have a combination of speakers and workshops to help us think about more complex ideas such as structural racism, race, identity, and critical teaching pedagogy. In addition to the traditional student and faculty talks, we plan to invite speakers and scholars to help us interrogate these ideas in a more hands-on fashion.
