CANCELED: School of Education 2020 Spring Commencement

Although we cannot be together to congratulate the Class of 2020 in person at this time, the SOE community honors graduates in the meantime with this virtual spring celebration of 2020 graduates.

All Spring 2020 commencement activities at the University of Michigan—including the School of Education's previously scheduled May 2nd ceremony—have been suspended indefinitely due to safety concerns related to COVID-19.

We know that this decision is very disappointing for our graduates and their families. Our students work incredibly hard to reach this milestone, and those who earn a Michigan degree deserve to be celebrated with their friends, professors, families and loved ones.

University leadership is currently working to find a new date on which to hold commencement for Spring 2020 graduates. More information about and continued updates on efforts to conduct celebratory ceremonies for the Class of 2020 can be found at the university's commencement website.
