This year’s annual Black History Month Showcase explores a powerful, urgent chapter of Black history: the use of bombings as attempts to destroy Black life and progress.
The goal of Bombed: Shattered Histories, Unbroken Spirits is to educate, provoke reflection, and highlight the resilience of Black communities in the face of violence and attempts at erasure—demonstrating that while these histories are shattered, Black spirits remain unbroken.
