Afternoon Fika with Nature Rx
Courtyard, Marsal Education
Join us for a special Marsal Education Fika in partnership with the Nature Rx program, hosted in the School of Education Building Courtyard. Inspired by the Swedish tradition of slowing down to connect over a warm drink and good conversation, this gathering offers an opportunity to step away from the busyness of the day, recharge, and enjoy community.
Coffee, tea and pastries will be provided, along with optional conversation prompts centered on nature, stress reduction, well-being, and everyday moments of joy. Whether you're hoping to meet someone new, share a conversation, or simply enjoy a restorative break, we invite you to come as you are and savor a few moments of connection.
This event is open to all U-M community members. This will be an open house-style event, so please feel free to come and go as it works best for you.

In case of inclement weather, the event will take place in Prechter Lab, located on the 2nd floor of the Marsal Education building.
About the courtyard and building:
- The Marsal Education courtyard entrance is located off E University Ave at the building’s midpoint and is step-free.
- The courtyard contains a mix of paved sidewalk and grassy areas with very little elevation change.
- Bathrooms are located inside the building. The step-free entrance to the building is located down the sidewalk from the courtyard.
- The Marsal Education building requires an MCard for entry.
- Seating will be limited.
