From July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026, all new monthly donors can have their gift matched dollar for dollar.
Annual Giving plays a vital role in sustaining the Marsal Family School of Education’s vision, values, and mission by providing the flexible funding needed to support our innovative programs and research, offering scholarships to talented students, continuing to pursue community partnerships, and responding to emerging opportunities and challenges.
Giving Categories
The Marsal Annual Giving Society recognizes two categories of generous annual donors to our school.
Annual Donors
Donors who give $1,000 or more to the Marsal School in a given fiscal year
Recognition begins July 1 each year and is based on gifts made during U-M’s previous fiscal year (July 1–June 30).

Monthly Gift Matching Program
The University of Michigan's 2025–26 theme year is Life-Changing Education, and NEW monthly donors to the Marsal School can double the impact of their gift.
Through June 30, 2026, the University will match all new monthly gifts 1:1 for 12 months (up to $100 per month).
Thus, new monthly donors to the Marsal School can double the impact of their gift.
A $50/month gift = $1,200/year Total Impact
Becoming a donor at the Annual Giving Society-level helps ensure Marsal Education can continue preparing the next generation of educators, leaders, researchers, and policy-makers who will craft a society where all children, youth, and adults have access to high-quality education.
In addition to being recognized as Annual Giving Society members, contributors will receive:
