Yael Ross is the RTMUS Lab Project Manager and Administrative Assistant. Under these titles she manages, organizes, and maintains a complex calendar, assists with preparation and follow-up for meetings, assists in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding undergraduate and graduate students and interns and handles approved payrolls and supports data management activities. She promotes a welcoming, organized, efficient and professional office environment.
Yael Ross has two MA degrees: one of Second Language Acquisition from Middlebury College in Vermont and a second MA in Educational studies, DATL concentration here at Marsal. She is Trauma Informed Care certified by the joint program of Marsal, School of Social Work and Nursing School. She is also a trained Graduate Instructor upon completing the CRLT’s Graduate Instructor certification.
Before joining the Marsal Family School of Education, Yael worked as a GSI for the History of College Athletics course here at Marsal where she provided support to 125 undergraduates encouraging them to success; and she worked as an intern at M-ARC program where she provided support to course instructors and assessed preservice teachers in online teaching simulations. She was also working as an intern research assistant for the Center for Global Health Equity with adjunction with Michigan Medicine as part of a study about HPV vaccine hesitancy abroad.
