Tanquarae McCadney is a dedicated higher education professional specializing in academic advising and student success. She currently provides guidance to prospective and current undergraduate students in the Education for Empowerment minor and the LEAPS (Learning, Equity, and Problem Solving for the Public Good) program at the University of Michigan's Marsal School of Education. Her role includes helping students navigate their academic paths, develop leadership skills, and prepare for careers centered on equity and social transformation.
Tanquarae brings a unique perspective to her advising, having been a student in the LEAPS design seminar during her time in the EJST program at the University of Michigan.
