Rylei is a recruitment and admissions coordinator for the Marsal Family School of Education. In this role Rylei helps develop and implement strategies to help identify scholars that would excel in the school of education, helping to create a diverse and highly-qualified group of applicants to the The Marsal Family School of Education’s various programs. Rylei works to facilitate the application process for both undergraduate and graduate applicants. Rylei can answer questions about the application process and the program that best fits each student’s interests and needs. Rylei is available for one-on-one meetings with prospective students to discuss any questions about the School of Education and the application progress.
As a former High School History teacher and Teach for America Corps member, Rylei knows the importance of the impact that teachers can make on the children they teach lives. In this role, her goal is to identify future classroom and school leaders that will continue to make strides toward ensuring all students receive an education that is diverse, inclusive, just, and equitable. Rylei knows firsthand what the classroom experience is like and is happy to answer questions and discuss her own personal experience teaching with prospective applicants and students.
Rylei enjoys spending time with her partner and pets Cricket (cat) and Frankie (dog). On days she is not working, you can find her at the Ann Arbor Farmers Market, reading a good book, or grabbing a bite to eat at Detroit Street Filling Station.
