Monica Wikaryasz is responsible for overseeing the financial administration and internal control activities for the School of Education. She administers the business affairs for the overall financial activities of the school in the areas of procurement, finance, general accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls. She also participates in the planning, development, implementation, and dissemination of school and university policies and procedures regarding all aspects of finance administration. She works closely with the Chief of Staff and helps with the preparation, development, and projection of the school's operating budget.
Monica joined the University of Michigan in 1988. She began her career in the Health System, working for 12 years in various finance roles. In 2000, she joined the School of Information to lead its financial administration team. She came to the Marsal Family School of Education in 2015 with many years of experience in budget and financial administration. Monica received her bachelor of business administration degree with a specialization in accounting from Eastern Michigan University.
