Massiel Adams-Santos
Massiel Adams-Santos serves as the online student services program manager for the online master’s program in Educational Studies at the Marsal Family School of Education. In this role, she manages admissions and student funding, develops student life cycle processes, and provides holistic support and mentorship to students. Massiel also leads special projects in support of the degree program and works collaboratively with key units in the Marsal School and on campus. She is motivated by student well-being and advocacy, accessibility, youth sociopolitical development, and inclusive learning.
Prior to this role, Massiel served as the master’s program manager in Educational Studies. Before joining the Marsal School, Massiel worked as a Program Coordinator for Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion and Graduate Education at the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy. She also worked as a Project Coordinator for Faculty within the Office of the Provost at Northwestern University and as an Academic Advisor and Program Specialist in the Honors College at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Massiel is a proud alumna of Smith College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Latin American Studies. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Latin American, Caribbean, and Iberian Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Outside of work, Massiel enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading, and organizing.
