Joseph supports efforts to discover, cultivate, and enroll a diverse and high-quality applicant pool of undergraduate and graduate students. His specialized responsibilities include the development and implementation of recruitment strategies targeting prospective community college transfer students. Joseph works in the field to build relationships with community colleges and promote the Marsal brand while expanding the reach of its programs. He is also responsible for the creation of targeted communication content that supports the mission of the Office of Recruitment and Admissions.
Prior to joining the Marsal School, Joseph worked in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, where he conducted extensive recruitment efforts throughout the state of Michigan. He also facilitated campus visits for groups of students from underrepresented schools and communities, college access groups, and community-based organizations.
Equitable access to education and diversity in the classroom are what motivate Joseph in his service to the University of Michigan and inform his recruitment efforts. He is passionate about connecting students with opportunities to further their education and encouraging them to take the next step towards their success through postsecondary education.
Outside of work Joseph enjoys spending time with family, rock climbing, and record collecting. He loves to chat about music and discover new artists.
