Jeanie provides strategic direction, management, and support for the Joint PhD Program in English and Education program and its faculty and students with the goal of recruiting, retention, and supporting scholars and teachers for successful post-graduate work within and outside the academy. She functions as a liaison to the English Department, Rackham Graduate School, College of Literature, Science, and the Arts, School of Education and other administrative offices at the University of Michigan.
Before joining the Marsal Family School of Education, Jeanie worked across the College of Literature, Science and the Arts with Outreach Service helping the college, departments, and programs with specials project or in the interim during staff transitions.
Outside of work she loves spending time with her family, gardening and lake life.
