In his role as a Web Software Developer, Matt applies his exceptional knowledge about websites and applications. His goal is to maintain, grow, and enhance the Marsal Family School of Education web presence with best practices, web standards, and appropriate technologies. Matt believes the best websites are easy to use and engage the user. He works collaboratively with the communications team to bring web solutions to the Marsal School community.
Matt believes in the importance and impact of education. With web technologies constantly changing, he commits himself to continually learning and honing his craft. He is excited to support a community of educators and policy-makers here at the Marsal School.
Matt joined the Marsal School communications team after serving U-M as a member of the Michigan Creative web team. There, he developed many websites for a diverse range of U-M units and schools. Prior to working for U-M, Matt was a Web Designer at Washtenaw Community College, where he designed and wrote front-end code for new components on the WCC website. Matt has a BFA from Eastern Michigan University.
