Lissette Gamez is a Program Assistant in the dije Office and a graduate student in the School of Education. Lissette is pursuing a master's degree in Higher Education with a concentration in Diversity and Social Justice.
Lissette is a proud first-generation, Latina student from Chicago, Illinois. She received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign in 2023. Currently, she is in her second year of the master's program in Higher Education, serves as a co-chair for the Graduate Organization for Students in Higher Education (GOSHE), and works as a Graduate Program Coordinator at the Office of Multi-Ethnic Student Affairs (MESA). In her free time, Lissette enjoys going to the gym, being in nature, and spending time with her family and friends.
