Karina is a graduate student assistant in the dije Office and a first year doctoral student in the Combined Program for Education and Psychology.
She completed her Bachelor's in Education from SoE in Elementary Education in 2020. In her time away from Umich, she taught 5th grade in a suburb of Chicago for two years. Outside of class and research, Karina is a first-generation student, co-founder/president of Black Graduate Student Association, member of Black Student Psychological Association and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
