Ioulia Kovelman
Associate Professor of Psychology, College of Literature, Science, and the Arts
Dr. Kovelman is an Education Neuroscientist. She is interested in how children learn and how learning is supported by their developing brain. Dr. Kovelman conducts research on child literacy development with a focus on bilingualism as well as learning disabilities such as dyslexia. Her work includes standard learning observations as well as neuroimaging methods such as fMRI and fNIRS.
