Educational Studies student Josie Whelan named Dow Sustainability Masters Fellow
Educational Studies master’s student Josie Whelan is among 34 exceptional graduate students from 10 U-M schools and colleges to be named Dow Sustainability Masters Fellows. Dow Masters Fellows are part of a distinguished group of graduate students who will work on service-learning projects to develop practical sustainability solutions for a community or organization.
This eighth cohort of U-M Dow Sustainability Masters Fellows will participate in the program from January to December 2020. Fellows focus on interdisciplinary approaches to sustainability challenges related to urban and rural communities, climate, energy, food, health, human behavior, transportation, water, and more.
The Dow Sustainability Fellows Program, made possible by Dow, supports full-time graduate students and scholars who are committed to finding interdisciplinary, actionable, and meaningful sustainability solutions on local-to-global scales. The program prepares future sustainability leaders to make a positive difference in organizations worldwide.
