Don Peurach interviews Sierra Leone’s Minister of Education David Sengeh
Their conversation will be the virtual keynote address for Transforming Education in an Interconnected World, an open access learning series.

In the coming year, the EdHub for Community and Professional Learning will launch Transforming Education in an Interconnected World, a series of four online, open access courses aimed at cultivating a community of impassioned educators, parents, and community stakeholders with capabilities to think globally and to lead locally. The virtual keynote for the series is Don Peurach’s interview with David Sengeh, Minister of Education for Sierra Leone, and author of Radical Inclusion: Seven Steps to Help You Create a More Just Workplace, Home, and World.
“The central theme of Minister Sengeh's book—radical inclusion—is the central goal of the Transforming Education series: to welcome all educational professionals, family and community members, and support partners who are committed to working together to advance educational access, quality, and equity,” says Peurach.
After attaining his PhD from MIT and working for IBM, Sengeh was tapped by Sierra Leone President Maada Bio to serve as Minister of Basic and Senior Secondary Education. Recently, Minister Sengeh’s approach to education was featured in the New York Times by Nicholas Kristof. Radical Inclusion, the minister’s first book, is also the first release from Melinda French Gates’ imprint, Moment of Lift Books.
